These large raw points of Amethyst have also been called Dragons Teeth  (emphasising the wisdom) But are more properly known as Bahia Amethyst which is the area of Brazil in which they originate. The sides are completely raw and untouched whilst the top faces have been polished so that you can see the interior.

 

Metaphysically the Amethyst energy doesn't change. It still brings a sense of peace, harmony and tranquility whilst the vibrant purple opens the doorway into meditation and spiritual vision, however this form does seem to have a more activating power.
